#77a Team Wraps Up Season with Cotton Pickin 100...
The Dylan Ames Racing team tackled the Magnolia Motor Speedway
in Columbus, Mississippi on October 28-29 for the 8th Annual
'Cotton Pickin 100.' The unsanctioned special event drew a stout
66 car field to "The Mag" and all eyes were fixated
on the $15,000 top prize. On Friday night, Dylan Ames timed
in twenty-fourth fastest in his group during qualifying and
later finished eighth in his loaded heat race. When Saturday
rolled around, Dylan wound up mid-pack in his consolation event,
which unfortunately kept him out of the 100-lapper.

Dylan Ames Nabs First Super Late Model Win at NAS!
Dylan
Ames and the #77a team headed to the North Alabama Speedway
in Tuscumbia, Alabama on Saturday night, October 15 for a $1,000
to win Super Late Model race. Thirteen Supers hit the track
for hot laps and qualifying. Chris Ragan had been working with
the team on setup stuff during the last two NAS events and Ames
hit the track with some changes that turned out to work great.
Dylan qualified second quickest of the thirteen
car field. This turned out to be a blessing because when the
Supers hit the track for the feature, the top was the preferred
way around the track. Ames took the green flag and led the field
into turn one on the high side. Dylan worked his way through
lap traffic until the first caution flag flew on lap sixteen.
There were three more caution periods before the last circuit
of the 25-lap feature, but Dylan got a good jump on each restart
to lead the field from flag-to-flag to bring home his first
Super Dirt Late Model feature win! The Harvest, Alabama youngster
grabbed the $1,000 top prize over John Miller, Bradley Price,
Mark Dodson, and Brandon King!

off from the inside of the fifth row in the A-Main, Dylan sported

a respectable eleventh place finish. The #77a team was happy
